The road to Vincents

How  Vincents Art Workshop began

Vincents is celebrating 40 colourful years - the longest-running stand-alone creative space in Aotearoa New Zealand.

The Road to Vincents follows its eventful path from the old Porirua Psychiatric Hospital to its first home at Oak Park House off Vivian Street in downtown Wellington.

Its back story has never been told until now, so it is valuable for the record alone. But it is important also because the people who set it up deserve to be celebrated and to have their story told.

STORIES WILL BE POSTED SOON.
